Introduction

Hi. I’m Tania and I want to share the power of EFT with you. It’s a simple tool, but incredibly effective at reducing stress hormones in the body, regulating the nervous system and clearing emotional blockages. I’ve personally used EFT to eliminate a spider phobia, sciatic pain, difficulties falling asleep and a raft of other issues. I’d now love to empower you to tackle any unwanted issues and find relief with EFT.

What to expect

Generally, it takes several sessions (at least three) to heal a long-term or complex issue. This is because core issues usually involve more than one aspect. Some issues can be resolved in one session.

During appointments, I will ask questions and have you talk about aspects of events, memories and your present state. My focus is to get you tapping as soon as possible so you can achieve your goal. For this reason, I may interrupt you or have you pause during a story or an explanation. This is to ensure that we use our time together to your best benefit; tapping will accomplish that faster than talking. Part of my job is to keep us focused and on-track with your goals.

Each session lasts 75 minutes, starting from your appointment time. Our first session will consist of an introduction to EFT (if required) in addition to tapping. I will also teach you how to tap on your own, because EFT is even more effective when you’re using it regularly.

A round of EFT generally consists of tapping on the side of the hand, followed by tapping on a series of points on your head and upper torso while talking about specific events and emotions. We will do multiple rounds of EFT each session.

If there is something you don’t want to talk about out loud, there are techniques we can use. Please let me know if you are uncomfortable at any point. It is important to me that you retain control of where we go each session.

I also offer a shorter tap and rant session for anyone just needing a safe space to vent and be heard while actively lowering stress in the body. Sometimes we just need to get things off our chest and have someone fully witness what we are feeling without fear of judgement.

How to prepare for appointments

Please ensure you have privacy and will not be interrupted during your session. I also recommend that you have a glass or bottle of water available to stay hydrated. It’s also a good idea to take care of other physical needs like hunger or bathroom breaks before we start so that your body isn’t distracted. You might also like to have tissues on hand (sometimes the body releases stuck emotions via tears).

We will be meeting via Skype (an online video conferencing platform). You will receive a Skype link via email ahead of your appointment. If using a smartphone or tablet, please check that the battery has plenty of charge and that nearby devices won’t interrupt the session.

What to expect after a session

You may feel a little tired after a session as you process the shift in energy. Continue to drink plenty of water. You can continue to tap on the easier issues on your own, as well as when a situation arises that is stressful; save the tougher, more complex, stubborn issues for your sessions with me.
